Coco Bongo

I had a chance to visit Mexico between 25 April and 1 May. The program included Guadalajara, Arandas and Cancun region. After Guadalajara and Arandas tequila distillery and field visit, we - me and rest people in the group- did fly to Cancun and stayed in Carmen Dela Playa.

5th night of our trip, we were gonna visit firstly Cancun tourism zone and eat at Puerto Madero-Argentina cuisine- and final destination was Coco Bongo. Especially after our really tasteful meal at Puerto Madero, nobody in the group did think that they could dance.

Somebody from the group has told us that he heard from his colleagues about Coco Bongo legend. We came to clubs area of Cancun tourism zone. The first thing that more than 200 people were in the que of Coco Bongo! As a special group, we passed all people and led to the legend. Just annoying thing about the club we had: incredible humidity and no air condition at the entrance! The club managers really should solve that!

But, after everybody got really hot, we arrived to crazy, incredible, stunning place! I bet there were about 1000 people and all were dancing. A showplace and big screens at top attract you in 10 seconds. I think there are 3 or 4 cameras inside of the club and capturing happinness moments of people and directs you to screen. Interaction is not this, also here is very clever thing: People from different nations visiting and enjoying in the club may show their nationality. I actually mean that on screens firstly national anthem of that country and flag you see and then camera focuses on people of which they are actually from that country! And imagine how people interacts with the show!

If you have a reservation, there is a waiter just busy with you. I'd recommend you make a reservation, because the club is crowded, you will want to have a space of your own.

and as USA Today mentioned Coco Bongo, I would like to finish my article :

"St.Patrick's Day, Mardi Grass and all rolled into one place"
